Some of u all have approached us, asking all sorts of questions on the campsite. After answering them, some of them went like this ' u sure or not? have u been there? u all saw the place already mer?' The worst part is when they say.. 'dont bluff la'. hehehe.. our reflex reply would be.. ' bluff u got money get ah?' .. but then, diplomatically, we answer..(with best smiles).. Yes, its true.

And we have been there. Some of us, at least. Here are pictures of the 'outside' of the campsite. I'll save the inside ones for later entries.

Its Finally Out!

Its here. Its finally here. The forms are finally out! Youth Camp's registration forms are finally out. The launch of youth camp's registration started yesterday, in conjunction with the YA's anniversary.

There was a video clip, featuring last year's camp... it serves as a reminder on how much fun we had last camp....there was the famous no 20 tshirt, 'packeted' rice, the grossy telematches... !!!! to be honest, i see no reasons not to go!!

Forms are finally out. So get your copy.. fill in ur details, get ur parents to sign it.. pay ur deposit. .and u're one step closer to camp!

btw, i know the forms are a little.. ahem* photostated. .. but.. i assure u, the commitee will be coming out with printed forms.. hopefully by this week.. (there were some problems with the shop's printer last week).. our apologies.

News Flash

Hey peeps, I've got a leak. It seems this saturday is the official launch for Youth Camp registration. It seems that everything has been finalise and the fliers are out. Apparently, the fliers looked real cool and the registration form was extra-ordinary. Well I can't get much info/pic of the fliers coz its classified. The director took extra care to make sure that the fliers is shown to everyone this sat during Youth Alive Anniversary. So .. do make it for Youth Alive Anniversary to see and experience the launch of Youth Camp 2005 . Till the next time, i shall dig out more news for all of you ....

Kenny's wont be around for whole weekend. wakaka.. and the Committee says.. Yeay! Apparently, he elected Michelle to take over his duties. (duh! who else ler? deputy!) Anyway, where was i?

Back to the topic.. the management of The Venue (btw lets call Ayer Keruh D'Village..The Venue, dont u think that sounds cooler?) was supposed to fax their quotation to the church office. So i guess, the venue is like 100% finalised.

Oh yeah, another leak out. Apparently, there'll be some promotion going this concurrent Sunday. Im not sure what it is. Maybe a skit. Maybe some posters.... I overheard Alison's conversation with Julien today. Something funny, i think. Last week's poster was good. Oh well, we'll find out what the Committe has in store on Sunday itself.

My feelings now: Its tiring being in the Committee. (im not complaining!)

The Venue

There was another forum today. This time, i could definately see some progress. To be honest, i was quite worried.. because for the past weeks, we didnt seem to be making any progress. (at least, that was what i thought to be) The venue of the camp was finally decided.

So folks, Im proud to announce the venue for Youth Camp 2005 (actually, i dont know whether im suppose to announce it or not) oh well. Lets pretend that you didnt find out from here. :) Its Ayer Keruh D'Village, Malacca. Don't frown now. Its a pretty nice place. It has a FANTASTIC hall. The best among the other places the committee checked out. This picture will do the trick... (just one picture for now)

Back to the forum..

Besides the venue, we also discussed the budgeting and funds. :) And promotion.

Okies. Since this is a leakout column.. hehe... this was Cmdr Gideon's reaction when he saw it...

There he was..talking bout something.. something... When Kenny took that picture out.... Immediately, Cmdr Gid paused. hehe. He went 'WOW' ... as he placed both hands on his head. One word to describe him.. "SUPER SHOCKED"... hehehe. I mean, how often does that happen? That was it. Go tease him bout it. :) Again, lets pretend you didnt find out from here.
